POSITION SUMMARY
This position operates the Main Vault, Coin Bank and Chip Vault. Is responsible and accountable for all funds during assigned shift. Responsible for completing all required paperwork for currency/coin/chips transactions. Conduct daily countdowns of the vault upon arrival and departure. Accept all responsibility for cash overages and shortages incurred in their bank.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Safeguard casino bankroll and maintain an accurate accountability of all funds.
- Ensures all currency and coin are kept at an optimum level to sufficiently operate the casino.
- Complies with and enforce Bishop Paiute Gaming Enterprises Internal Controls, Federal Cash Reporting Requirements (Title 31) and Casino Finance Policies and Procedures.
- Complies with key control procedures.
- Ensures the Main Vault is secured at all times and entrances are restricted to authorized personnel only.
- Maintains accurate accountability of all cash, chips and forms required.
- Accountable for cash variances incurred in the vault.
- Accurately record all employee tips and maintenance of tip log, for Payroll purposes.
- Prepares daily bank deposit shipments for armored car pickup.
- Receives bank shipments and ensures that all funds are received and verified in a timely manner.
- Conducts buy and sell from other cashier banks.
- Verify and prepare all department banks/drawers. (Player’s club, Restaurant, Bartenders, Cocktail servers and Floor person.)
- Conduct fills and credits for Table Games Department.
- Accountable for Drop transfer of funds and Soft Count deposits.
- Must be able to work any shift including splits, evenings, weekends, and holidays according to established procedures.
- Must report violations to appropriate authorities as necessary.
- Maintain confidentiality of all casino operations data.
- Maintains an effective, efficient, and clean work environment.
- Complies with uniform policy and safety apparel code.
- Completes other duties and assignments as directed.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma, or GED is required. Additional education beyond high school, and job-related experience would take precedence in selection.
- Two (2) to three (3) years of cashier or money handling experience required.
- Experience handling large amounts of cash preferred.
- Combination of education and experience may satisfy minimum requirements for this position.
- Ability to use or learn to use a Ten Key Adding Machine required.

- Ability to maintain confidentiality in all matters.
- Ability and willingness to attend additional training is required.
- Able to hear and speak effectively in a noisy environment.
- Must be able to work various schedules, on an as-needed basis; as work schedules could vary and will involve day, evening, or nighttime hours during the week and/or on weekends.
- Must meet requirements to qualify for a Bishop Paiute Gaming License. Must pass an extensive background check.
- Cannot have any cash related criminal convictions.
- Must pass pre-employment drug test.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

- Team member will be required to stand, walk, climb stairs, sit, grasp, bend lift and/or carry up to a minimum of 25 pounds on an intermittent basis.
- Ability to work in a confined area.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This work is in a confined to a small vault room located inside the Cage Department. Applicant must be able to deal with a fast-paced work environment, which may cause stressful situations. Subject to constant surveillance, security and wanding measures.
Salary : $17
