Bishop Ireton High School has an opening for a long term substitute (Science) Biology teacher during the first quarter of the 2026-2027 school year.
Candidates will:
-demonstrate professionalism in a collaborative environment.
-have strong communication skills.
-possess a bachelor's degree in a science or associated field
-possess or be willing to obtain a Virginia teaching license or VCEA license
Candidates must be willing to undergo a background check and take required in-person Virtus training. This is a 12-week position, 40 hours per week, with salary range between $1,100 -$1,600, dependent upon experience.
