Job Summary
Biscuit Belly - Elizabeth is seeking a friendly, dependable, and hospitality-focused Hospitality Service Associate to support daily restaurant operations and provide a welcoming experience for guests. This role involves guest service, order handling, food and beverage service, dining area support, cleanliness, restocking, and teamwork throughout the restaurant.
Responsibilities
- Welcome guests warmly and provide friendly, professional hospitality.
- Assist guests with seating, menu questions, and general service needs.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and communicate special requests.
- Assist with preparing and serving breakfast, brunch, and restaurant menu items.
- Support food preparation, portioning, plating, packaging, and order assembly as needed.
- Ensure food and beverage orders are accurate, complete, and properly presented.
- Deliver orders promptly and courteously.
- Answer guest questions about menu items, ingredients, beverages, and available options.
- Assist guests with basic menu selections and communicate dietary requests to the appropriate team members.
- Assist with point-of-sale transactions and customer payments as needed.
- Clear and reset tables while maintaining a clean and welcoming dining environment.
- Maintain clean and organized dining areas, counters, service stations, and workspaces.
- Restock food supplies, beverages, utensils, napkins, containers, and other service items.
- Support kitchen, service, and front-of-house team members during busy periods.
- Follow food handling, sanitation, cleanliness, and workplace safety procedures.
- Communicate guest concerns, supply needs, and service issues to supervisors.
- Assist with opening, closing, cleaning, and general restaurant duties.
- Help maintain consistent food quality, presentation, and order accuracy.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude throughout each shift.
- Perform other hospitality, restaurant service, and customer support duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant, hospitality, food service, or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
