The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, quality-focused, and experienced in inspection processes within a manufacturing environment. This position requires prior quality inspection experience, strong attention to detail, and current J-STD-001 certification.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Inspect solder points and assemblies in accordance with J-STD-001 workmanship standards
- Accept or reject products based on inspection criteria, specifications, and company quality standards
- Perform detailed visual inspections using microscopes, magnification tools, and inspection equipment
- Identify workmanship defects, nonconforming materials, and quality concerns
- Complete inspection and production reports accurately and timely
- Transact M1 operations accurately and timely
- Document inspection results and communicate discrepancies to supervisors or appropriate personnel
- Verify proper termination and assembly of receptacles and related components
- Follow all company quality standards, safety procedures, and production requirements
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Handle parts and assemblies carefully to avoid damage
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, production personnel, and team members
- Support production flow by completing inspections in a timely manner
- Assist with additional quality or production-related duties as assigned

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Required Education: High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and interpret documents such as work instructions, computer data, and procedure manuals. The ability to speak effectively, and clearly so others can understand you, before individuals or groups.
SOCIAL SKILLS: Ability to continually interact with others as a contributing member of a close-knit team. Ability to work closely together with others, possibly of different backgrounds and interests, without friction. Works well with people. Able to maintain strict confidentiality.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Aptitude to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s. Ability to calculate figures and amounts.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to solve practical. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
COMPUTER SKILLS: Ability to comfortably use computer software in Windows environment. Basic understanding of software, word-processing, spreadsheet, and related office applications.
GENERAL: Self-starter, able to work independently, able to work under pressure, comfortable with interacting with multiple levels of organization, able to work cross-functionally within organization to accomplish objectives, results oriented.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, use hands to finger, handle, for tooling and small electrical contacts, reach with hands and arms to place/replace products. WORK ENVIRONMENTThis position works in a production and manufacturing environment where employees may be exposed to machinery, soldering equipment, noise, and standard manufacturing materials. Appropriate safety equipment and training will be provided.
