Part Time Universal Caregiver Birkwood Village Assisted Living & Memory Care – Fort Madison, IA
Pay: $15.00 – $18.25/hour, depending on experience, plus a $2.00/hour shift differential for 3rd shift
Birkwood Village is hiring a Universal Caregiver for our assisted living/memory care team. If you're dependable, compassionate, and looking for a position in a close-knit senior living community, we'd love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, transfers)
- Administer medications per care plans and state guidelines
- Complete light housekeeping duties
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, coworkers, and leadership
- Respond promptly and calmly to resident needs throughout the shift
Requirements:
- CNA and/or AL Medication Tech certification preferred, but not required
- Prior caregiving experience preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable attendance and a genuine passion for working with older adults
