Birkwood Village of Fort Madison, Iowa is looking for a highly motivated and skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team! We have a 13-bed ventilator unit that specializes in cardiopulmonary treatment for patients who are ventilator and tracheostomy dependent, and those with various respiratory diseases and conditions.

Job Type: PRN
Shift Available: All Shifts
Base Pay: $34.00/hour plus experience pay
*Shift Differential for evenings and nights*
Job Responsibilities:
- Assess and treat patients with a variety of pulmonary diseases
- Tracheostomy care and ventilator management
- Oxygen therapy and monitoring
- Rehabilitation and ventilator weaning
- Nocturnal support with CPAP/BiPAP
- Daily documentation
Skills:

Education:
- Actively licensed by the State of Iowa as an RCP
- Graduate of a CoARC approved respiratory therapy program
- Credentialed as a CRT or RRT by the NBRC
