Position Summary: The Paralegal, Contracts supports the Corporate Counsel in the Legal Department by administering and coordinating the contract lifecycle for a regulated mail-order specialty pharmacy and wholesale distribution business. This role assists with drafting, reviewing, tracking, execution, and maintenance of a wide variety of contracts and related documentation while ensuring accuracy, regulatory awareness, and adherence to company policies and procedures.

- Draft, review, edit, and administer contracts, amendments, renewals, and terminations, including vendor agreements, service agreements, distribution agreements, NDAs, and pharmacy-related contracts.
- Manage the contract lifecycle from intake through execution, ensuring all required approvals, signatures, and documentation are completed.
- Maintain contracts within the company’s contract management system, ensuring accurate data entry, version control, and audit-ready files.
- Track contract milestones, renewal dates, expirations, and contractual obligations; notify stakeholders of upcoming deadlines.
- Coordinate contract routing and execution using electronic signature platforms.
- Review contract language for consistency with company standards, healthcare laws, and pharmacy regulations under attorney supervision.
- Assist with the administration of PBM-related agreements, including tracking network participation, reimbursement, and rebate-related contractual terms.
- Serve as a liaison among Legal, Compliance, Operations, Pharmacy Services, Sales, and Finance regarding contract status and documentation requirements.
- Prepare reports, dashboards, and metrics related to contract volume, cycle time, renewal status, and execution progress.
- Maintain shared legal folders, contract templates, and standardized forms.
- Knowledge of contract administration processes and legal terminology.
- Familiarity with pharmacy and healthcare contracting concepts, including PBM network participation and rebate-related contractual provisions, preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a regulated environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint; experience with contract management systems preferred.

- Associate or bachelor’s degree in legal studies, Business Administration, or a related field required.
- Paralegal Certification from an ABA-approved or nationally recognized paralegal program required.
- Minimum of 2-6 years of experience in a paralegal, contract administration, or legal support role.
- Prior experience in healthcare, pharmacy or other regulated industries strongly preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and industry related software programs
- Prior experience in Retail, Mail Order of Specialty Pharmacy, PBM, pharmaceutical or managed health care industry preferred.
- Experience Working with Privacy related platforms (One Trust, etc.)
- Home-based office environment, with minimal exposure to excessive noise or adverse environmental issues.
- Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time.
