Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience working with either production companies, post-production houses or agencies
- Strong grasp of pre-production, production to post-production workflow
- Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets and project management tools (Monday, Asana, etc.)
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, data-driven, and hands-on startup environment
- Open to 5 days/week in office
Company Context
birddogs is a growth stage men’s sports apparel brand approaching a $100m run rate. The Paid Creative team is the driving force behind generating sales as it produces hundreds of creative tests per week on social platforms. The Creative team needs a production specialist to help with the coordination of projects for production and post–production.
Role Specific Context
This is an incredible opportunity to execute as the central hub of operations in the Paid Creative department at birddogs. This ideal candidate will have either production or post- production supervising experience and will be adaptable to new cross-functional responsibilities in this role. This individual must be detail oriented, able to navigate and solve ambiguous problems, analytical, and strategically inclined.
Reporting, Resources and Responsibility
- Report directly to Mattan Hamou, Director of Paid Creative
- Responsibilities include…
- Coordinate all creative operations including casting, crewing, scheduling, and billing
- Casting: Facilitate sourcing of our UGC talent pipeline
- Crewing: Assist in staffing crew for short-form vertical shoots and long-form YouTube / TV spots
- Billing: Oversee disbursement of payments to contractors and vendors in a timely manner
- Build and maintain a production calendar that is trackable and easy to use
- Orchestrate weekly project plans and daily schedules ensuring creative deliverables hit every deadline
- Strategically assign high-stakes projects across creative strategists, editors, and graphic artists
- Must be highly organized, detail-oriented, with proven ability to manage cross-functional projects
- Collaborate with the Director of Paid Creative, Production Lead, and Post-Production Lead on project execution and deadlines
