Job Summary:
We are seeking a Seasonal Kennel Technician to join our team during our busy seasons. The Seasonal Kennel Technician will be responsible for providing care and support to animals in our facility, including feeding, exercising, and grooming.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience working with animals preferred
- Ability to handle and restrain various sizes of dogs and cats
- Strong attention to detail and a genuine love for animals
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment
Responsibilities:
- Feed and water animals according to schedules and feeding instructions
- Walk and exercise animals in designated areas
- Clean and maintain kennel areas, including removal of waste and sanitizing kennels
- Groom animals as needed, including bathing, brushing, and nail trimming
- Monitor the health and well-being of animals, reporting any concerns to the supervisor
- Provide general support to other staff members as needed
