Brief Job Overview:
Assist with the check-in and check-out process of rental equipment. Once you've mastered the Birch Rental Process there's growth potential to move into other positions within Birch including sales, driving, etc.
Scope:
- Perform a variety of manual tasks to assist with day-to-day operations
- Basic inspection and servicing of small equipment
- Rent and sell equipment to customers
- Organize, maintain, and stage equipment in the yard
- Maintain store cleanliness
- Load/unload customers
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
- Excellent customer service skills
- Computer competency
- Ability to perform essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation
- Ability to bend or kneel and work with arms raised for prolonged periods
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Willing to work in the elements year-round
- This is a safety-sensitive position that requires a Drug Free workplace, including ability to pass pre-employment drug test & random drug tests
Licenses Required: Valid WA State license in good standing
