Description

Birch Agency is seeking an MRI Technologist to join our team.

The MRI Technologist operates magnetic resonance imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images of patients’ internal structures. They ensure patient safety, comfort, and accurate imaging while working closely with radiologists and healthcare teams.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Operate MRI equipment to capture detailed diagnostic images
• Prepare and position patients for MRI procedures
• Screen patients for contraindications (e.g., metal implants, pacemakers, claustrophobia)
• Explain procedures to patients and address concerns
• Administer contrast agents as prescribed
• Monitor patients during imaging for safety and comfort
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and MRI safety protocols
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
• Perform routine equipment checks and report malfunctions
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnostics

Required Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma/GED (required)
• ARRT in MRI REQUIRED
• MRI Certification (required)
• CT Certification (preferred)
