About the Role
We are seeking a Lead Value Engineer to support the design, development, and implementation of AI-powered Process Intelligence solutions within complex Life Sciences and Healthcare environments.
This role combines technical consulting, AI solution architecture, process optimization, predictive analytics, and customer value realization. The successful candidate will work closely with executive business stakeholders, supply chain leaders, and technology teams to understand strategic business challenges and translate them into scalable AI-enabled solutions.
The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in enterprise AI, Process Intelligence, predictive analytics, and customer-facing solution delivery, with experience leading both pre-sales and post-sales engagements from discovery through implementation and measurable value realization.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead AI discovery workshops to understand customer strategies, business objectives, and operational challenges across Life Sciences and Healthcare organizations.
• Translate complex business requirements into scalable Process Intelligence and AI-driven solutions using predictive analytics, machine learning, and enterprise AI technologies.
• Design and develop predictive models, optimization algorithms, and forecasting solutions to improve supply chain planning, logistics, manufacturing, inventory management, and distribution operations.
• Lead technical discovery sessions, solution demonstrations, executive presentations, and Proof-of-Value (POV) engagements throughout the customer lifecycle.
• Develop innovative AI prototypes during customer workshops and hackathons using modern AI frameworks, LLMs, and enterprise data platforms.
• Architect and implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), LLM orchestration, AI agents, prompt engineering, and enterprise AI solutions with appropriate security, governance, and operational guardrails.
• Collaborate with business executives, supply chain leaders, IT organizations, and technical teams to drive adoption and maximize business value.
• Present technical architectures, implementation roadmaps, business cases, ROI analyses, and value realization strategies to executive stakeholders.
• Support customer implementation activities, ensuring successful deployment, adoption, and long-term business outcomes.
• Continuously evaluate emerging AI technologies, Process Intelligence capabilities, and industry best practices to develop innovative customer solutions.
Required Qualifications
• 8 years of experience in technical consulting, solution engineering, value engineering, AI consulting, or enterprise pre-sales/post-sales engagements.
• Demonstrated experience designing and delivering enterprise AI solutions, including Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), prompt engineering, LLM orchestration, AI agents, and generative AI applications.
• Strong Python programming experience, including hands-on development using libraries such as pandas, Pydantic, scikit-learn, PyTorch, LangChain, and related AI/ML frameworks.
• Experience developing predictive analytics, optimization models, forecasting algorithms, and enterprise data engineering solutions.
• Strong understanding of enterprise data integration, data engineering, APIs, and AI solution architecture.
• Experience delivering customer-facing technical presentations, executive workshops, whiteboarding sessions, solution demonstrations, and Proof-of-Value engagements.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and executive presentation skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Supply Chain Management, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience building production-grade AI solutions using LangChain, LlamaIndex, or other enterprise LLM orchestration frameworks.
• Experience in technical consulting, solution engineering, value engineering, AI consulting, or enterprise pre-sales/post-sales engagements within Healthcare, Pharmaceutical, Life Sciences, or MedTech industries.
• Experience deploying AI and machine learning solutions on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Knowledge of enterprise AI governance, model evaluation, AI safety, and secure deployment practices.
• Experience working within regulated Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical, or Healthcare environments, including familiarity with GxP requirements.
• Experience with enterprise supply chain optimization, logistics, manufacturing, procurement, inventory management, or distribution operations.
• Knowledge of Process Mining, Process Intelligence, Digital Transformation, and enterprise process optimization initiatives.
Compensation
**Base salary range for this role is $140,000 - $200,000, with flexibility for exceptional candidates**
