We are expanding our innovative team with the addition of a Catheter Technician. In this role, you will support product development and manufacturing efforts for cardiac catheter assembly. Working from schematics, engineering drawings, and written or verbal instructions, you will assemble cardiac catheters and utilize specialized tools such as microscopes, soldering irons, digital multimeters, calipers, and other precision instruments. You will also conduct functional tests, document results, and maintain high standards in the catheter lab. standards.
Your Responsibilities
- Assemble, prototype, and test cardiac catheters while contributing to the development of assembly procedures.
- Assist with product development and manufacturing engineering activities, including testing cardiac catheters and related equipment.
- Support engineers in developing operational processes, including methods for verification and validation testing, and facilitating design transfer to production.
- Maintain a positive, collaborative, and accountable approach while working effectively under guidance from leadership.
- Perform onsite maintenance of equipment used for manufacturing, diagnostic or treatment purposes.
- Follow schematics, engineering drawings, and detailed instructions to ensure precise catheter assembly.
Your Profile
Education / Experience Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience building cardiac ablation catheters.
- Proficiency in catheter assembly techniques and familiarity with required equipment.
- Intermediate to advanced skills in assembling, testing, and troubleshooting catheter components.
- Expertise with catheter fabrication tools such as microscopes, soldering irons, digital multimeters, and precision measuring instruments.
- Strong understanding of fabrication techniques and processes.
- Practical experience with cardiac catheter construction and electrode processing.
- Ability to accurately follow manufacturing process instructions and execute procedures effectively.
- High attention to detail, quality standards, and proactive problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to produce accurate reports and effectively share information with team members.
Additional Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Familiarity with cardiac and vascular catheterization procedures, tools, and terminology.
- Knowledge of material selection and processes related to catheter development.

BIOTRONIK EP CRC is dedicated to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base salary range for this position is $30-$34 per hour, based on experience and qualifications. In addition to base salary, BIOTRONIK EP CRC offers a bonus program and comprehensive benefits package, which includes health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and other perks.
