As our production volume continues to grow, we are expanding our Digital Production Team and seeking a 3D Printing Technician to support our workflow and ensure efficient, high-quality model production.This role plays an important part in maintaining the speed, accuracy, and consistency that our dental clients rely on.Position OverviewThe 3D Printing Technician is responsible for operating and maintaining dental 3D printers, preparing digital cases for printing, and ensuring printed models meet BioTec’s quality standards. This role works closely with the digital design and production teams to keep cases moving efficiently through the laboratory.The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable working with technology, and able to manage multiple production tasks in a fast-paced environment.Key ResponsibilitiesBuild dental models from digital files for productionPrepare and nest models, arches, teeth, denture bases, and related components for efficient printingOperate dental 3D printers to produce high-quality modelsClean, post-process, and cure printed models according to production standardsInspect printed models for accuracy and print qualityMatch printed models and components to the correct dental casesRoute completed prints to the appropriate production departmentsPerform routine maintenance and calibration of 3D printing equipmentMaintain organized workflows to ensure timely case turnaroundSupport data entry and administrative production tasks during downtimeAssist with other production-related duties as neededRequired QualificationsStrong attention to detail and quality controlAbility to follow technical procedures and production workflowsComfort working with computers, digital files, and production softwareStrong organizational and time management skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentPreferred QualificationsExperience in 3D printing, digital manufacturing, or dental laboratory environmentsFamiliarity with CAD/CAM or dental digital workflowsExperience with production equipment maintenance or calibrationWhat Success Looks Like in This Role3D printing production runs smoothly and efficientlyModels are accurate and meet BioTec’s quality standardsCases are routed quickly to downstream departmentsEquipment is maintained to prevent downtimeWhy BioTec Dental LaboratoryBioTec blends advanced digital manufacturing with the artistry of dental craftsmanship.
