  • Support metal 3D printing for mold making: Use Mantle Trushape software for setup and slicing, and operate the Mantle 3D metal printer and sintering oven.

  • Work with DMLM/SLS metal 3D printers: Prepare builds using Magics or similar software and run GE Mlabs or Trumpf metal additive manufacturing systems.

  • Program and run advanced machining equipment: Use CNC mills (3–5 axis), CNC lathes, water jets, wire EDM, and manual machines to create prototype parts, tooling, and devices.

  • Collaborate with engineers: Help identify and clarify potential design issues and escalate concerns when needed.

  • Support safety and compliance: Maintain chemical and material MSDS logs and stay current with required EH&S training.

  • General responsibilities: Keep the workspace clean and organized and assist with other tasks as needed.
