Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid (mostly remote, but must be PST time zone) role for a Financial Controller. The Financial Controller will be responsible for preparing financial statements, managing accounting functions, overseeing financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards. The role also involves conducting in-depth financial analysis and offering insights to support strategic business decisions.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Financial Statements preparation and Financial Reporting
- Must have biotech/healthcare experience
- Must have start-up experience or working in a small team
- Strong skills in accounting and understanding of compliance standards
- Skills to support data-driven decision-making
- Solid background in finance, including budgeting and forecasting - engaging with various parties, partners and resources
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a CPA or CMA certification is a plus
- Experience in working with financial systems and tools
Salary : $90,000 - $140,000
