What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Machinist Setup/Operator position at BIOS Medical?
Duties:
- Needs to be able to work on a tight schedule, meet deadlines.
- Set up and operate CNC machines to fabricate precision parts
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications
- Use SolidWorks software to program machine operations
- Monitor machine operations to ensure quality control standards are met
- Perform basic math calculations to verify dimensions and tolerances
- Handle materials and perform material handling tasks as needed
- Fabricate and assemble components using hand tools and tooling
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in the warehouse
Requirements:
- Previous Programming experience is nice to have.
- Previous experience operating CNC machines is preferred
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and engineering drawings
- Familiarity with SolidWorks software for programming machine operations
- Basic math skills for performing calculations and verifying dimensions
- Ability to handle materials safely and perform material handling tasks
- Knowledge of quality control standards and procedures
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Good manual dexterity for using hand tools and tooling effectivey
