Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for the position of Counselor, based in Hackettstown, NJ, with some flexibility for work-from-home arrangements. The Counselor will provide individual and couple therapy, perform assessments and evaluations, and collaborate with clients to develop personalized treatment plans. Additional responsibilities include maintaining accurate documentation, coordinating care with other professionals, and offering support to ensure clients achieve their mental health goals.
Qualifications
- Skilled in Counseling, Therapy, and Crisis Intervention
- Proficiency in Assessment, Client Evaluation, and Treatment Planning
- Strong Communication, Active Listening, and Empathy skills
- Knowledge of Mental Health Theories and Practices
- Organizational abilities and capacity to maintain detailed documentation
- Experience using electronic health record (EHR) systems is helpful
- Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field
- Licensed as an LCSW, LPC, LMFT, etc. in the state of New Jersey
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
