Position Overview:
BioPhase is seeking a Staff Accountant to support a growing team with payroll and general accounting functions. This is a hands-on contract role ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working across multiple areas of accounting.
BioPhase is seeking a Staff Accountant to support a growing team with payroll and general accounting functions. This is a hands-on contract role ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working across multiple areas of accounting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process payroll using Paylocity or similar systems (ADP, etc.) and review for accuracy
- Support general ledger activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations
- Assist with payroll and benefits-related accounting (401k, HSA, etc.)
- Generate reports and support month-end and quarter-end close
- Maintain and track compliance tasks within internal systems (e.g., AuditBoard or similar)
- Assist with light international accounting activities (banking, wire transfers, basic financial review)
Qualifications:
- 3 years of accounting experience (Staff Accountant level or similar)
- Experience with payroll processing (Paylocity, ADP, or similar) preferred
- Strong understanding of general ledger and reconciliations
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
Salary : $40 - $45
