San Diego, CA (On-site)

Company Overview

BioLegacy Research is a preclinical Contract Research Organizations (CROs) dedicated to accelerating drug discovery and development through high-quality in vivo pharmacology, toxicology, translational research, and related laboratory services. We partner with biopharmaceutical and biotechnology companies worldwide to support innovative therapeutic programs across multiple disease areas. Our San Diego site plays a key role in supporting U.S. business development, scientific collaboration, and client engagement initiatives.

BioLegacy is seeking an experienced Marketing Specialist to lead and execute marketing initiatives from our San Diego site. This role will play a key part in strengthening BioLegacy’s brand presence, driving lead generation, and supporting business development through strategic marketing activities.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in life sciences marketing, the ability to translate complex scientific services into clear and compelling messaging, and experience managing multi-channel marketing programs with a high degree of independence.

This position will work closely with Business Development, Scientific, and Corporate teams to shape and implement marketing strategies aligned with company growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support development and execution of marketing initiatives that promote BioLegacy Research and PharmaLegacy’s services and brand presence.

  • Support website updates, SEO initiatives, and digital engagement tracking to improve visibility and lead generation.
  • Track and report marketing performance metrics including website traffic, email engagement, and social media analytics.
  • Collaborate with the Shanghai Marketing team to identify and support new lead generation opportunities.

  • Maintain lead sourcing trackers including lead source, relevance, ownership, and follow-up status.
  • Focus on identifying high-quality, strategically relevant business opportunities rather than lead volume alone.
  • Partner with Business Development teams to prioritize and organize commercial opportunities.
  • Support planning and execution of conferences, trade shows, webinars, networking events, and client visits.
  • Coordinate event logistics including registrations, badges, booth materials, scheduling, shipping, and compliance documentation.
  • Ensure marketing materials and promotional assets are prepared and delivered on schedule for events and client meetings.
  • Support event lead capture, post-event follow-up coordination, and accurate lead handoff processes.
  • Contribute to improving event SOPs, workflows, checklists, and organizational processes.
  • Prepare client-facing presentations, meeting materials, and post-event communications.
  • Work cross-functionally with Business Development, Scientific, Operations, and Leadership teams to support company-wide initiatives.
  • Support general marketing operations, vendor coordination, and special projects as assigned.

Required Skills & Experience
