Job Description:
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Perform medication passes accurately and safely
- Monitor and report changes in resident condition
- Complete timely and accurate documentation
- Provide nursing care in accordance with facility policies
- Supervise CNAs on assigned units
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Excellent communication skills
- Personable and professional demeanor
- Ability to work with individuals from diverse cultures and personalities
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Active license (state)
- Minimum of 1 year of Long-Term Care (LTC) experience required
- Must be able to pass a medication administration (med pass) test and clinical observation
- Strong attendance and punctuality required
- 1 year plus of LTC experience, will accept clinicians with other recent specialty experience. Like rehab, med surg, hospital experience.
- Alzheimer's & Dementia Patient population
- Must have NY State License - NO LICENSE HITS ALLOWED
- MUST PROVIDE PROOF OF LICENSE AT TIME OF SUBMISSION***
- RTO Restrictions: RTO ONLY APPROVED AT TIME OF SUBMISSION. WILL NOT APPROVE AFTER OFFERED. Cannot take every holiday off
- ANY CALL OUTS MUST BE GIVEN WITH AMPLE NOTICE, MORE THAN 24hrs PRIOR**
- Compliance takes 1.5-2 weeks
- Must be dependable with consistent attendance
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be flexible with scheduling needs
- First-Timers Accepted: Yes
- Weekend REQ: Every other weekend required upon center request
- Certs REQ: BLS
- Locals Accepted: Yes
- DL or SSN are mandatory at the time of submission
- 3 days of orientation will be required.
- RN's - Days (7a-3p /5-8's only 7 RN's
- RN's - Evenings (3-11 /5-8's only 4 RN's
