Job Description:
- 8 years of recent analysis and development experience with Oracle 12c SQL/PLSQL, programming interface (API) libraries, HTML, ASPX, VB.Net, Javascript, Toad for Oracle, Visual Studio, and Microsoft Team Foundation Server/Azure DevOps. Oracle (PL/SQL) experience a requirement.
- 8 years of current experience working in a development team environment managing, overseeing, and implementing operational systems with technical staff, users, and customers (e.g, requirements documentation, translation, user acceptance testing, ER diagramming, flow charts).
- 8 years of current experience monitoring and troubleshooting system interfaces and system integration processes relating to proxy, application, database and active directory domain servers.
- 8 years of current experience in change management best practices, serving in a code promotion role in partnership with development team members using MS Team Foundation Server and the corresponding Visual Studio CVS integration tools.
- 8 years of current experience in the application of statutory law and administrative rules in program codification and maintenance of required processing functions.
- 8 years in conversion of ACCESS to SQL and .NET applications.
- 8 years with online financial transaction systems.
- 1 year of knowledge and experience with IBM Cloud service offerings, including Watson X and development of Watson-based chat assistants.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily development and technical support for the ongoing operation of the WIC Data System and the interfaces with the EBT system, ACCESS, IBM Watson, and other supported system applications, and computer attached scanners, pin pads, magnetic card readers, text and voice messaging execution and management as directed by the Department.
- Troubleshoot work requests and provide solutions to daily processing and development issues as directed by the Department.
- Maintain and submit documentation of daily system performance of the WIC Data System applications including all interfaces and any system maintenance and adjustments undertaken including work requests to correct process errors as directed by the Department.
- Analyze and document business and technical requirements for system fixes, modifications and enhancements as directed by the Department.
- Create code for system fixes, modifications, enhancements, interfaces and integration processes that adheres to all applicable coding procedures, standards and techniques as directed by the Department.
- Conduct testing of system fixes, modifications and enhancements including support of User Acceptance Testing. Document test results as directed by the Department.
