Are you passionate about reptiles, amphibians, invertebrates, and plants? BioActive Supply helps customers create ecosystems that mimic the natural habitats of their pets. We handcraft substrates and carry natural items that support thriving bioactive enclosures.
We’re looking for a detail-oriented team member to join us in our San Leandro, CA workspace. This role is essential in making sure reptile keepers receive top-quality products—carefully packaged and shipped on time. If you’re efficient, organized, and enjoy hands-on work, this could be the perfect fit. Social media skills are a huge plus and may lead to additional opportunities within the company.
Hours
- 20 hours per week (Tuesday–Friday, 5 hours/day)
- Flexible start/end times
Day-to-Day Tasks
- Printing order slips, pulling products, and boxing orders for shipping.
- Prepping, packaging, and labeling products (substrates, leaves, dry goods, etc.)
- Managing inventory counts and keeping stock organized
- Opportunity to assist with social media content such as posts, photos, and updates.
Responsibilities
- Pack, seal, and label products with accuracy
- Perform order picking for online sales
- Maintain clean, organized workstations
- Conduct regular inventory counts
- Follow safety and quality protocols
Skills
- Ability to package and ship products quickly and accurately
- Strong attention to detail and efficiency
- Familiarity with shipping/receiving processes
- Knowledge of reptiles, amphibians, and invertebrates is a plus but not required
- Social media knowledge (Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, etc.) is a plus-plus!
