At Bio 911, no two days are ever the same, and you won’t spend your days staring at a screen. Our cleanups range from crime scenes to hoarding situations, unattended deaths, mold remediation, and several other home restoration services. We are committed to providing a thorough, hassle-free cleanup experience for individuals and businesses alike.
Apart from the services listed below, other duties may be assigned:
- Crime scene cleanup
- Drug lab and meth lab testing and cleanup
- Hoarding cleanup and psychological support services
- Mold remediation and removal
- Tear gas cleanup
- Odor removal
- Death clean-up
- Traffic accident clean up
- Blood clean-up
- Homicide clean-up
- Biohazard disinfection and decontamination, including many viruses
Job Description
A Restoration Technician can budget time, resources, and engage challenges across all aspects of our business. You must have the skills and current IICRC certifications. Must also be willing to travel within the local area.
Prior experience in remediation or comparable industries is desired. Applicants should have experience in the use of hand tools. Must be physically capable of moving furniture and equipment and working in the heat wearing PPE.
- Solid work history and no criminal background required
- Must have your own car and a clean driving record
- Work may be during nights, weekends (as needed)
- Must be able to pass a drug and background check
Requirements:
1. You must possess least two (2) active IICRC certification from the list below to qualify for this position.
A. Biohazard: (Hazwopper)
B. Water: (WRT)
C. Mold: (AMRT)
2. You must have a current respirator fit test.
3. You must have a current 40 Hour OSHA certification
4. Current 40-hour Clandestine Drug Lab course certification and/or the ability to complete online training within 30 days.
5. Hepatitis B. Cost of vaccine is provided by employer if employee has not had the vaccination.
6. Abide by all OSHA, DOH, and company safety rules and regulations.
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully; an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Employees are required to be trained in properly cleaning and use of a respirator including fit checks in accordance with OSHA. Respirator Standard 29 CFR 110.134
- Employees are required to be trained per OSHA requirements in Bloodborne Pathogens. The cost of this training will be provided by company.
- Knowledge of personal protective equipment found in 29 CFR1910.132 through 1910.138.
