We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Property Manager to lead the daily operations of our residential and student rental properties. In this role, you will oversee leasing activities, ensure property maintenance, manage tenant relations, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations. Responsibilities
- Oversee property leasing processes, including marketing, showing units, and negotiating leases.
- Manage tenant relations by addressing inquiries, resolving conflicts using effective conflict management techniques, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate property maintenance activities to ensure properties are well-maintained, safe, and compliant with legal standards.
- Utilize Appfolio property management software for data entry, rent collection, lease administration, and reporting. Utilize Quickbooks for accounting, and reporting.
- Administer legal administrative tasks related to leasing agreements, contracts, and compliance documentation while maintaining organized filing systems.
- Conduct regular inspections to monitor property conditions; coordinate repairs with maintenance staff and vendors as needed.
- Engage in property marketing efforts by leveraging sales skills to attract new tenants.
- Maintain excellent phone etiquette when communicating with tenants, vendors, and prospects; foster positive relationships through effective customer relationship management practices.
Experience
- Proven experience in property management or real estate administrative roles with a strong understanding of property leasing and facilities management.
- Knowledge of landlord-tenant law, legal administrative procedures, and conflict resolution techniques.
- Demonstrated ability in customer service roles within real estate or property management environments.
- Office experience involving data entry, filing systems, phone etiquette, and administrative support functions.
