Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment. The RN will provide high-quality care to patients requiring close monitoring and advanced nursing interventions in a step-down unit setting.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and assess patients with complex medical conditions
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop care plans
- Operate and monitor specialized equipment (telemetry, IV drips, etc.)
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate records
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of recent PCU experience
- Active RN license (compact preferred)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong critical thinking and patient care skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Additional Details:
- 36 hours per week (3x12s)
- Night shift coverage required
