Job Summary:
Responsible for creating, handling, preparing, and tracking component samples for testing. This role requires strong attention to detail, accurate documentation, timely execution of sampling activities, and effective communication with team members. The position will also assist with verification of sampling execution and monitor requests for SAP data entry to support timely material receipts.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, handle, and prepare samples of components for testing.
- Perform sampling activities accurately while following applicable GMP SOPs and procedures.
- Routinely count, track, and maintain samples throughout the sampling process.
- Maintain accurate and complete records and documentation of sampling activities.
- Assist with verification of sampling execution.
- Monitor requests for SAP data entry and ensure activities are completed in a timely manner to support material receipts.
- Communicate sampling activities, requirements, and any issues or needs effectively with team members.
- Work collaboratively with others to support daily sampling and material-handling activities.
- Lift and move boxes and materials weighing up to 50 lbs., with typical boxes averaging approximately 30 lbs.
- Follow all required safety procedures and wear required PPE, including steel-toe shoes.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to follow GMP SOPs and established procedures.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Should have Steel Toe Shoes.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately count, track, and document samples.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work the assigned 10-hour shift schedule.
Education Requirements
- Required: High School Diploma / High School Equivalent
- Preferred: Two-Year Degree
Preferred Qualifications
- Two-year degree.
- Basic SAP experience.
- Previous experience with SAP data entry or material receipt activities.
- Experience working in a regulated, manufacturing, laboratory, pharmaceutical, or similar environment.
- Experience with sample handling, documentation, inventory, or quality-related activities.
