Duties
- Greet guests upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, utilizing Toast POS systems to ensure seamless order processing.
- Provide detailed menu descriptions, recommend specials, and upsell items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales.
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and food safety protocols.
- Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring a positive dining experience.
- Handle cash transactions accurately through cash handling procedures, including cashiering duties.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and assisting with food handling and sanitation practices.
Experience
- Previous restaurant experience in a fast-paced environment, preferably in finer dining
- Familiarity with Toast POS system is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of food service operations including food preparation, food safety regulations, and sanitation standards.
- Proven ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while delivering attentive guest service.
- Experience with upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities while enhancing guest satisfaction.
- Excellent communication skills combined with a friendly attitude to foster guest relations.
