Duties
- Assist in managing daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures
- Supervise and motivate staff to deliver outstanding customer service and efficient food delivery
- Manage inventory control, including stock ordering, storage, and waste reduction
- Operate Toast for accurate cash handling and sales processing
- Conduct staff training sessions on food safety, customer service, and operational procedures
- Support shift management by coordinating team schedules and ensuring smooth service flow
- Monitor compliance with health regulations and safety standards across all departments
- Assist with budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting to optimize restaurant profitability
Requirements
- Proven experience in restaurant management or supervisory roles within the food industry
- Wine knowledge and experience preferred
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively through training, mentoring, and performance management
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating memorable dining experiences
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and manage inventory efficiently
- Familiarity with casual dining restaurant environments; fine dining or hotel experience is a plus
