DIRECT STORE DELIVERY AND OUTSIDE ORDERS REPLENISHMENT SUPPORT
I. Objective of the Position:
Ensure the successful execution of the replenishment distribution process of Direct Store Deliveries (DSD), Warehouse (WHSE), and Outside Orders while reducing costs and improving efficiencies. Assist the Customer Service Representative in the day-to-day execution of the Customer Service roles and responsibilities.
ll. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Review, monitor, and ensure proper inventory levels of individual stores and warehouse customers.
- Plan, process, and track the DSD process for all assigned stores and DSD runs.
- Aid in the Dispatch process for drivers and equipment on runs.
- Manage inventory levels to plan third-party warehouses.
- Coordinate with the Shipping Department and Production to optimize requirement fulfilment.
- Assist/execute all border crossing documentation/shipment information for international shipments.
- Assist the Distribution Supervisor in the processing of DSD and Warehouse runs supporting the reconciliation process.
- Align stores on routes to match demand and provide training as needed to drivers.
- Assist in Customer Service functions of freezer monitoring, service, and conditions.
- Assist in Customer Service functions of store concerns and contacts.
- Assist in the maintenance and improvement of delivery system devices and software.
III. Minimum Qualifications:
Education and/or Experience equivalent to: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; and/or experience in a role like the above Duties and Responsibilities. Ability to operate in a dynamic environment in the absence of direct supervision.
Experience:
- Five or more years of progressive experience in system-based orders processing.
- Proven experience in Logistics and Distribution operations.
Knowledge/Qualifications and Skills:
- Must have excellent customer service skills/verbal and written communication skills. Good English communication skills (both written and oral).
- Communicate and coordinate effectively with internal and external stakeholders and supporting organizations verbally and in writing.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc. Demonstrate a willingness to learn improved skills.
- Must possess the highest possible standard of ethics and conduct.
- Demonstrate good organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills, able to meet deadlines.
- Take initiative and be self-motivated, always looking for opportunities to improve.
IV. Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to sit, stand, walk, bend, stoop, push and pull objects up to 25 lbs.
- Must be able to work in varying and dynamic schedules to meet operational demand and can meet flexible schedules from time to time.
- The anticipated work hours for this position are from 0800 – 1700 Sunday through Thursday.
- The position will have the potential for varying hours and schedule to cover the demands of the Department during Vacations and Holidays.
