This position is also responsible for increasing our return on investment through customer shopping programs, aisle architecture and assortment management.
Key Job Responsibilities
Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Marketing or Business-related field preferred.

Position Summary
The Manager Customer Planning is co-responsible for developing the Trade Plan for the overall Profitability/Healthy Performance of all assigned Customers. Key Job Responsibilities
- Development of Quarterly Trade Calendar in collaboration with the Account Lead
- Conducts all quantitative pre and post promotion Breakeven Analysis
- Utilize trade management tools including but not limited to: ROI Analytical Tools, Margin Miner and syndicated data (Circana / Nielsen) to understand Customer performance
- Gain alignment on all forecasts with Customer Executive and accurately input into our Trade Planning Module
- Ensure weekly calendars are accurate and communicated accordingly
- Continuously adjust Promotional Plans, driven by Customer, Customer Executive, trends, forecast accuracy, strategy/guardrail change and/or course correction.
- Responsible for highest integrity of internal / external promotional pricing forms
- Work with the Customer Lead on the development and execution of Customer Shopping Programs
- Development of executive level Power Point Presentations
- Use the Standardized Price List
- Utilize established Guardrail Frequency (Except Upon Approval)
- 13Wk / 26Wk / 52Wk Avg Realization should be monitored and managed to ensure we are consistently exceeding our profitability targets.
- Ability to achieve specific objectives/outcomes and set/meet key initiatives
- Ability to collaborate with internal co-workers to fulfill deliverables/commitments
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Self-Starter / Work in a proactive and aggressive manner (Empowered to Make Decisions)
Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Marketing or Business-related field preferred.
Ideal Candidate Will Possess
- Minimum of 3 years in either Sales Management, Customer Accounts, Pricing Management, Trade Planning, Revenue Growth Management or other relevant experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Computer skills and high proficiency in Excel with proficiency in Powerpoint and Word is required; proficiency with Navigator and Margin Miner is a plus
- Knowledge of syndicated data like Circana or Nielsen, ability to analyze data and communicate meaningful insights
- Travel is required – 25%
