Hope Ranch is seeking a dynamic and experienced Inpatient Facility Director to lead and oversee the operations of our inpatient substance use recovery facility. This pivotal role to our operations involves managing staff, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and fostering a therapeutic environment for individuals receiving care. As the Hope Ranch Inpatient Facility Director, you will drive operational compliance, and cultivate meaningful relationships with staff, clients, families, and community partners to promote healing and growth.
Responsibilities
- Lead the daily operations of the inpatient facility, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery in alignment with organizational goals and regulatory requirement
- Supervise direct care staff, including staffing, scheduling, performance management, and fostering a collaborative team environment
- Oversee program management activities such as quality assurance, compliance audits, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain facility standards relating to cleanliness, safety, structure and grounds management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, families, community organizations, and healthcare providers to support coordinated care
- Ensure adherence to all safety protocols and regulations while promoting a culture of safety and respect within the facility
Qualifications and Desired Skills
- Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum 3-5 years of supervisory/management experience in healthcare or residential setting
- Experience managing 24-hour operations and staff scheduling
- Exceptional leadership, organization and communication skills
- Solid administrative background with expertise in staffing logistics, documentation practices, and regulatory compliance
- Ability to manage high stress situations effectively
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
- Full time position that requires flexibility, including evenings, weekends and on call availability
- Work is performed in a residential inpatient environment
- This role requires an active presence and mobility within the facility.
- Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the facility for extended time periods
- Ability to lift 25 pounds
- Ability to respond quickly to urgent situations
