Billings OB/GYN Associates is looking for an experienced Patient Access Specialist to join our team. Successful applicants will possess exceptional customer service skills, skillfully manage tasks in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate integrity and enthusiastically deliver their best work every day.
Required Skills
- Minimum two years' experience in medical reception position
- Prior scheduling experience within a specialty or multi-disciplinary clinic
- Familiarity with medical and insurance terminology
- Experience collecting patient fees
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Preferred Skills
- OB/GYN office experience.
- Experience using a multi-line phone system.
- Familiarity with medical and insurance terminology
- Knowledge of Epic EMR system a plus
Qualifications and Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Working Conditions and Requirements:
- Ability to work full time 7:00am-5:00pm.
Typical Physical Demands:
- Position may require prolonged sitting some bending, stooping, stretching, and lifting. Good eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone, calculator, and other office equipment is also required. Employee must have normal range of hearing and eyesight to record, prepare, and communicate appropriate reports. Position requires significant time looking at computer screen, which may result in some eye strain.
