We are seeking a 6th-grade Mathematics teacher. The job responsibilities include: A strong background knowledge in teaching middle school math. Using various methods of instruction to differentiate for all students. Preparing lesson plans, homework, assignments, tests, etc.
to support curriculum goals. Developing classroom standards to maintain student discipline and behavior. Communicating regularly with parents and administration on student concerns and academic performance. Working with a team to determine student learning goals and expectations.
Performing all duties in a professional manner. Actively supporting a positive school culture for all members of the community. Planning comprehensively and thoughtfully, and collaborating with other content area and grade level teachers. A Commitment to the Locke Middle Schools mission, vision and Core Values.
Provide other related duties that the principal may assignCandidate must be MA certified as middle school Mathematics Teacher with the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.
