Position
We are seeking an Associate Attorney with 2 years of experience to join our team. This is a full-time, on-site position at our Wallingford office. As an Associate, you will play a key role in litigation strategy and case management, including:
- Drafting pleadings, motions, and briefs
- Conducting legal research and analysis
- Managing discovery, including depositions and document review
- Preparing for and participating in hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials
- Communicating with clients, courts, experts, and opposing counsel
- Supporting senior attorneys in developing creative strategies to achieve client goals
This position offers direct client contact, courtroom exposure, and the opportunity to work closely with experienced partners in a collaborative environment.
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Admission to the Connecticut Bar
- 2 years of litigation experience (insurance coverage, property damage, or personal injury preferred)
- Strong research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to client service and professional growth
