Responsibilities
- Market the firm to landlords and property management companies as potential clients
- Collaborate with attorneys to learn firm strengths and target markets
- Report to partners and associate attorneys regarding sales and marketing efforts
- Implement an established sales protocol using provided firm contacts, leads, and data
- Recommend improvements on existing sales strategies and lead development
- Onboard and correspond with new clients and record associated data in case management software

The Landlord Law Firm is a boutique law firm that has represented landlords, property owners and property management companies in the state of CT for over 25 years. We have handled more than forty thousand summary process matters and countless other disputes between landlords and tenants, including low-income public housing and large commercial lease litigation. In addition, the firm has worked on a wide range of fair housing related matters – representing clients in private negotiations, public agencies, and state and federal courts. Lastly, the firm has also handled commercial collections litigation and consults with prospective property owners on tenant-related issues during their property acquisitions.
We currently represent residential landlords who manage more than 40,000 residential units and commercial landlords who manage more than 500,000 square feet of commercial space throughout CT.
Job Description
The Associate Attorney will practice landlord-tenant law, representing clients in court multiple times per week and consulting with them to provide operational-legal guidance. The Associate Attorney will be provided with a robust, pre-established procedural network, full-firm staff support, and attorney-led training as needed to handle all manner of landlord-tenant matters. This role is Connecticut-based and physical presence in Connecticut is required, but remote work (outside of in-person court appearances) is available.
Compensation
The compensation package for this role will include a base salary commensurate with experience. The successful candidate will also be considered for advancement and for other incentives and company-wide benefits.
