Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1 years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.A full-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) position is available to support elementary and middle school students within a K-12 school setting. This contract assignment spans a full semester, beginning immediately, with an anticipated end date of June 9, 2026. The role requires service across 2-3 school buildings with a caseload focused on both elementary and middle school levels.Key Responsibilities:Deliver speech-language therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in compliance with state and federal regulations.Collaborate with educators and school staff to implement and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs).Document progress and participate in team meetings to ensure effective communication and student support.Manage caseload efficiently while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.Qualifications and Experience:Active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant license in Connecticut is required.Prior school-based experience working with K-12 students is essential.Completion of district fingerprinting and background checks is mandatory.Credentialed candidates will receive prioritization.Upfront license submission is advantageous for consideration.Work Details:Full-time commitment, 35 hours per week.Assignment includes 2-3 buildings with diverse student populations.The position is contract-based, covering the full semester.The hiring process involves a Zoom interview.Location:Position is based in New Britain, Connecticut.This role presents an excellent opportunity for credentialed SLPAs seeking meaningful experience in a dynamic educational environment.
