Selected specialists will deliver speech and language services to young learners, supporting their development at key pre-schools in Broomall, Upper Darby, Drexel Hill, Aston, Ridley/Woodlyn, and Springfield. You’ll be empowered to customize interventions and work collaboratively with educators and staff, helping students thrive in academic and social environments.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid CCC-SLP certification
- Hold (or eligible for) an active state license for SLP practice
- Experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and collaborative skills
- Ability to travel among assigned pre-school sites within serviced areas
Core Duties Include:
- Conducting assessments and evaluations for students referred to special education
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
- Collaborating with school teams and families to enhance student progress
- Managing a dynamic caseload in an itinerant or center-based framework
- Documenting progress and maintaining regulatory compliance
Flexible scheduling options are available:
- 2 full-time itinerant SLPs needed (4-5 days/week) for Drexel Hill/Upper Darby and Aston
- 1 part-time SLP (3 days/week) supporting Ridley/Woodlyn and possibly Springfield
- 2 full-time roles in the Low Incidence Program at a specialized education center
