What we’re looking for:
- Certified Special Education Educator with valid credentials
- Fingerprint Clearance Card (IVP FP Card) in hand
- Direct experience working with children with Autism, ideally in a self-contained classroom
- Skillful in using diverse visuals and structured supports to enhance learning
- Ability to write and implement legally compliant IEPs
- Background in positive behavior intervention and classroom management
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Role responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction to meet individual student needs in a structured, supportive setting
- Develop, update, and maintain IEPs, collaborating with families and support staff
- Implement evidence-based visuals and other supports to assist communication and comprehension
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment
- Monitor progress, track data, and adjust teaching strategies as needed
