This full-time opportunity spans from July 31, 2026, through May 26, 2027, and is based onsite at one dedicated location. You'll play a pivotal role in helping young learners thrive academically and socially.
Key Qualifications:
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
- Valid licensure in one of the following: Early Childhood Special Education (birth–8, grades P3-2 only), Early Childhood Special Ed Specialist (birth–8, grades P3-2 only), Early Childhood Special Ed (birth–5, grade P3-K only), or Early Childhood Special Ed (ages 3–8, grades P3-2 only).
- Experience or strong interest in working with preschool-aged children in a special education setting.
- Familiarity with standardized assessments for eligibility as well as general education assessments in literacy and math.
- Eligibility to complete a background check upon offer acceptance.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Serve a maximum caseload of 15 preschool learners with disabilities, delivering both in-class and pull-out services.
- Cultivate individualized education plans, deliver targeted instruction, and monitor student progress.
- Assess students using standardized tools and collaborate with the team to tailor programs to each learner’s needs.
- Participate in planning and collaboration sessions every Friday, with instruction scheduled Monday through Thursday.
- Maintain clear and productive communication with families and fellow staff.
