Special Ed Teacher - Tacoma, Washington

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Qualifications:

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct instruction and support to high school students in a self-contained classroom
• Develop, implement, and track Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment tailored to students’ socio-emotional and academic needs
• Work in partnership with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and support staff
• Engage regularly with families and multidisciplinary teams to drive student progress
• Maintain all necessary documentation in compliance with school, district, and state requirements
