Special Ed Teacher | Framingham, Massachusetts

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A Special Education Teacher position is available at an elementary school located in Framingham, MA. This full-time, contract role offers approximately 32.5 hours per week, with a scheduled workday from 8:45 AM to 3:30 PM. The assignment begins as soon as possible and continues through the end of the current school year or spring 2026, concluding by June 30th.

The successful candidate will manage a caseload of 14-15 inclusion students, supporting their academic and social development within the general education setting. Preference is given to candidates who are Spanish-speaking, though it is not a requirement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to students needs
• Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to foster an inclusive classroom environment
• Monitor student progress and adjust instructional methods accordingly
• Maintain accurate documentation and conduct regular communications with parents and school personnel
• Participate in meetings, including IEP reviews and team planning sessions

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Massachusetts teaching license and required certifications in special education
• Prior school-based experience working with special education students
• Ability to undergo CORI and fingerprinting requirements (letter of suitability from previous employer may be accepted)
• Spanish language skills preferred but not mandatory

This is an onsite opportunity at an elementary school location. Interviews will be conducted via Zoom.
