A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist opportunity is available at a school location in Loves Park, IL. This contract position starts ASAP and runs through the end of the school year (EOSY), with the possibility of continuing into the next school year (NSY) if not filled internally. The role involves providing services to elementary and middle school students across two buildings, managing a caseload of approximately 35 students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services to a diverse caseload of students in elementary and middle school.
- Collaborate with educators and staff to support student communication goals.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and student progress.
- Utilize bilingual skills in Spanish and English to effectively communicate with students and families.
Qualifications:
- Valid PEL and appropriate State license for Speech-Language Pathology.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is required.
- Experience working in a school environment with children is preferred.
- Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 35 students across two buildings.
- This position does not include telehealth services.
Schedule:
- Full-time, 37.5 hours per week.
- Work hours are either 7:15 AM to 3:00 PM or 8:00 AM to 3:45 PM.
