Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Occupational Therapists with a passion for supporting students are needed for enriching opportunities serving K-12 learners for the 2026-2027 academic year. Make a positive impact onsite in a collaborative school environment in the vibrant Seattle area, helping young people build vital skills for success both in and out of the classroom.

Responsibilities include:

  • Deliver direct occupational therapy services to a diverse caseload of up to 30 students, grades K-12
  • Assess student needs, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement interventions in accordance with IEP goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to promote student progress and participation
  • Complete all required documentation, progress notes, and reports in a timely, accurate manner
  • Participate in IEP meetings, team conferences, and staff training
  • Adapt therapeutic techniques for varied learning styles, cultures, and developmental needs

Ideal candidates should have:

  • Current Occupational Therapy licensure and certification valid in Washington State
  • Fingerprint clearance through OSPI prior to assignment
  • Previous experience in school-based settings, with a strong understanding of K-12 student needs
  • Outstanding communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of an interdisciplinary team
  • Dedication to fostering inclusive, supportive learning environments for all students

In this contract position, you’ll work a consistent, school-day schedule (37.5 hours per week), ensuring work-life balance and the satisfaction of making a measurable difference in the lives of students. This is an onsite-only role, offering direct engagement with students and colleagues.
