Make a meaningful impact supporting preschool and school-age students as a Speech-Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow (SLP-CF) specializing in early intervention. This contract opportunity empowers you to work across Carbon and Lehigh Counties with diverse caseloads, providing itinerant services. Assignments are subject to change throughout the year, offering valuable experience from PreK through 12th grade. The position follows a 35-hour week (in-person only) and runs from July 6, 2026, through June 11, 2027, aligning largely with the Early Intervention calendar.
Key Qualifications:
- Active provisional or temporary SLP license in Pennsylvania (required)
- Experience or strong interest in early intervention and school-based speech therapy
- Flexibility to travel within Carbon and/or Lehigh Counties for itinerant services
- Willingness to serve both preschool and potentially school-age students throughout the school year
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation abilities
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, evaluation, and speech-language therapy to preschool children and, as needed, school-age students (PreK-12)
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student’s unique needs
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, families, and administrators
- Maintain timely documentation and progress monitoring for all caseload students
- Travel between locations to deliver services as scheduled
- Adapt to assignment changes as caseload and school year needs evolve
