School-Based Physical Therapist - San Juan Capistrano, CA

Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1 year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.A part-time Physical Therapist position is available to provide specialized therapy services within a K-12 school setting in the San Juan Capistrano area, serving students from preschool through high school. This contract role supports a maternity leave coverage through the end of the school year, with a flexible schedule averaging 20 to 30 hours per week. The caseload currently consists of approximately 35 students requiring physical therapy services.Key Responsibilities:Deliver physical therapy assessment and interventions to students spanning preschool to high school ageCollaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to create and implement individualized therapy plansMaintain accurate documentation of student progress and therapy sessions in compliance with school policiesParticipate in team meetings and IEP reviews to support student goalsAdapt therapy approaches to meet the diverse needs of the caseloadQualifications:Master's degree in Physical TherapyActive California Physical Therapist licenseExperience working professionally within a school or pediatric setting preferredAbility to manage caseload efficiently and work flexible hours (part-time to near full-time)Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with multidisciplinary teamsLocation:On-site work within schools in the San Juan Capistrano region, CaliforniaThis opportunity offers the chance to support students' developmental progress during a crucial period within a public school environment.
