Key Qualifications:
- Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification is required and must be maintained throughout the assignment
- Experience working with elementary-age children within schools strongly preferred
- Familiarity with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and individualized behavior intervention plans
- Proven ability to implement, monitor, and record behavior strategies under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct, one-on-one ABA therapy for an elementary student in a supportive school setting
- Implement behavioral interventions under direction of the supervising BCBA and educational staff
- Collect and record accurate data on student progress and behaviors
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to promote student success
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of intervention plans
- Maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and compliance with school policies
Position Details:
- Contract spans August 27, 2026, through June 12, 2027
- Monday-Friday, 35 hours per week, from 8:15am to 3:45pm, including a 30-minute lunch and two 15-minute breaks daily
- Individual 1:1 caseload at an elementary school in a supportive, resource-rich environment
