Schedule:
- 30-32.5 hours per week
Key Qualifications:
- Active CNA certification (Certified Nursing Assistant or Certified Nurse Assistant)
- Must possess a current, active Rhode Island Department of Education (RIDE) CNA certificate
- Ability to interview in person (onsite interviews are required)
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Strong communication skills and adaptability in a school setting
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist students with activities of daily living under the supervision of licensed staff
- Support health and safety needs in classrooms, hallways, and during school activities
- Collaborate with teachers and education professionals to meet individualized student care plans
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and student health concerns
- Respond to emergencies and provide basic first aid or CPR as needed
- Serve as a compassionate resource and support system for students with health needs
