What you get to do (Essential Functions):- Support controls leadership in implementing cost and schedule control processes by coordinating with project teams and trade partners to collect current and forecasted cost data, and by ensuring accurate use of job codes, cost codes, and general ledger accounts for accounts payable, billings, and payroll transactions.
- Review material invoices to reconcile quantities and amounts with purchase orders and packing slips.
- Confirm accuracy of sales tax rates, calculations, and amounts on invoices.
- Prepare and submit customer billings in accordance with contract requirements, including format, frequency, charges, and rates, while collaborating with project managers to review billings for accuracy, appropriateness, and timely submission.
- Carry out appropriate work breakdown structure of sub-jobs, cost codes, and categories to optimally manage the project budget, schedule, and production management processes.
- Enter purchase orders, subcontracts, and revisions into Boldt systems.
- Finalize purchase orders, subcontracts, and revisions in Boldt systems.
- Complete final execution of subcontracts and scanning of executed subcontracts and purchase orders.
- Review subcontractor certificates of insurance (COI) for compliance. Provide feedback to subcontractors as needed.
- Complete subcontract close-out process and warranties.
- Coordinate invoice problems with project staff and delivery requirements with vendor and company representatives.
- Assist with project and job setup in the accounting system; including, job information entry, cost codes and categories assignment, tax certificates and required documentation, and workflow key players designations.
- Participate in the development of project-specific plans for efficiently implementing appropriate controls processes and tools vital for achieving project financial and schedule objectives.
- Support creation and maintenance of production management plans, including master schedule, production strategy, constraint removal, work-ready, weekly and daily plan, and production tracking.
- Assist project teams in analyzing costs for labor, materials, subcontracts, and general conditions to update the revenue, cost, and profit projection at completion and identify variances with the budget.
- Attend monthly project review meetings to discuss the status of financial and schedule performance; then develop strategies for achieving or surpassing objectives for these areas.
- Complete financial reporting and analysis as necessary to support the project, operating group, and corporate objectives.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Project Controls, Business Administration, or Engineering.
- An equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Minimum of 2 years of related construction project controls experience required.
- General knowledge of construction project controls principles and project management processes preferred.
- Skilled in Microsoft Word and Outlook, proficient in Microsoft Excel, familiar with project management systems, and knowledgeable of Power BI beneficial.
- A valid driver’s license may be required. Individuals in this role may be subject to an annual Motor Vehicle Records check. Salary : $70,590 - $90,416
