Duties
- Diagnose appliance issues using technical schematics, diagnostic tools, and mechanical knowledge
- Perform repairs on appliances such as refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, dishwashers with precision and efficiency
- Utilize electrical experience to troubleshoot wiring, control boards, and electrical components
- Assemble, install, and test repaired appliances to ensure proper operation before customer handover
- Maintain detailed service records and documentation of all repairs performed
- Operate a truck or similar delivery vehicle safely for parts transportation and on-site service calls
- Communicate clearly with customers about repair processes, maintenance tips, and safety procedures
Skills
- Proven experience in appliance repair and field service roles with a strong customer service orientation
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals accurately
- Mechanical knowledge including assembly, equipment repair, and HVAC systems familiarity
- Electrical experience related to appliance components and control systems
- Experience as a delivery driver or operating box trucks is preferred for efficient parts logistics
- Knowledge of refrigeration systems and their maintenance requirements
- Excellent problem-solving skills combined with the ability to work independently in diverse environments
